Dr. Michelle Lee is a graduate of the 7 year combined-degree BS/DDS program at the University at Buffalo. She graduated college with summa cum laude honors and went on to obtain her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. Upon graduation, Dr. Lee was selected to complete her post-doctoral training as a general practice resident at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center where all aspects of general dentistry including restorative dentistry, oral surgery, pathology, dental oncology, pediatrics, medically complex patient care, and emergency medicine were emphasized.

 

Dedicated to pursuing excellence and providing evidence-based dentistry, Dr. Lee continues her dental education through participation with the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, New York County Dental Society, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Clear Aligners, the Pankey Institute, and most recently The Kois Center. She has served on the Board of Directors in New York County Dental Society since 2016. From 2016-2022, she was a leader of the Give Kids A Smile Day Steering Committee and has served as Administrative Chair since 2018. In 2020, Dr. Lee was nominated and elected to be a fellow in the New York Academy of Dentistry in recognition for her service to the profession and the community as a leader and an example of the highest ethical conduct.  In 2021, she was invited to be a clinical consultant for Dental Advisor by the Editor-in Chief.  As a native New Yorker, Dr. Lee is thrilled to be back home in NYC to provide customized quality dental work in a gentle, comfortable, and compassionate manner. Dr. Lee believes that beauty, function, and longevity are the three pillars of comprehensive dental work and as such, she strives to deliver on all three fronts for each patient.

When not in the office, Dr. Lee's hobbies include web design, jogging, spending time with her friends and family, reading non-fiction,  and watching documentaries.
